Meet Kirsty,
Hiya, I’m thrilled to be the groomer here at The Pooch Parlour! My love for animals has been a lifelong passion. After working at the kennels for many years and completing an Animal Care course at Reaseheath College I pursued my dream of dog grooming. I’m proud to hold an IPET Network Level 3 certificate and absolutely love what I do in our very own salon!
At home, my two cocker spaniels, Milo and Ruby, keep me company. When I’m not grooming, you’ll often find us enjoying walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. My three children also keep me and my husband busy and on our toes! As a family, dogs are truly our life.
My goal is to build long lasting relationships with my customers, so that they always look forward to their visits.

Does my dog have to be vaccinated?
Yes, for the safety of all our furry clients.
Can I book in my dog just for a groom without boarding?
Absolutely! We welcome dogs for grooming sessions even if they’re not boarding with us.
Do you offer a de-shedding service?
Yes, we do!
When should I bring my puppy for its first groom?
We recommend bringing your puppy after their second round of vaccinations. Early introduction to grooming helps them become comfortable and confident.
What can I do to maintain my dogs coat in between grooms?
Regular brushing, bathing, nail trimming at home are key to keeping your dog’s coat in great condition.
Price List
All our prices are a starting from. We will always embark on a consultation prior to the groom, after which the price will be determined and your dogs breed, coat type and condition will all be taken into consideration when discussing your grooming needs.
Additional fee’s may be applied for de-matting’
